Michael provides both in-office and virtual counseling, and also offers walk-and-talk therapy sessions at Lake Norman State Park for clients who prefer a more relaxed therapeutic setting.
Rachel creates a warm, supportive space where clients can explore difficult emotions, life transitions, and personal challenges without fear of judgment. She provides mental health counseling to individuals struggling with anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, depression, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and major life changes. Through her trauma therapy, Rachel helps clients build resilience and move toward greater self-acceptance and emotional wellbeing.
Her approach is person-centered and collaborative, balancing compassion with gentle accountability to help clients challenge unhelpful patterns and make meaningful progress. Rachel incorporates evidence-based approaches, including CBT and has experience supporting clients with eating disorders, domestic violence, self-harm, substance use, polyamory/ENM, and women’s issues.
Rachel currently provides virtual therapy for clients across North Carolina.
Aubreigh works with children, teens, and adults navigating emotional dysregulation, behavioral concerns, trauma, personality disorders, anxiety, and depression through mental health counseling. She is passionate about creating a supportive and welcoming environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and encouraged throughout their healing process, especially in trauma therapy sessions.
Much of Aubreigh’s clinical experience has focused on helping children with disruptive behavioral disorders as well as individuals struggling with intense emotions, interpersonal difficulties, and personality-related concerns. She employs an individualized approach to therapy, utilizing evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, PCIT, play therapy, schema therapy, and trauma informed counseling to meet each client’s unique needs.
Aubreigh offers both in-person and virtual sessions, with evening availability designed to accommodate busy school and work schedules.
Michelle brings over a decade of clinical experience in mental health counseling, helping adults and couples navigate relationship challenges, trauma, life transitions, and emotional healing. She specializes in addressing concerns related to relationships, infidelity, divorce, sexuality, trauma, and non-traditional relationship dynamics, assisting clients in building greater self-awareness, resilience, and connection through effective trauma therapy.
Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, creating a safe space for clients to explore difficult experiences and work toward meaningful change. Michelle integrates a variety of evidence-based approaches, including EMDR counseling, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Gottman Method, and psychodynamic therapy to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs.
In addition to her clinical work, Michelle is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist with extensive experience supporting trauma recovery, relationship growth, and personal transformation.
Shaquille provides a supportive, culturally informed approach to therapy for children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating stress, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. He works collaboratively with clients to build resilience, improve coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change aligned with their personal values and goals.
With experience in mental health counseling, Shaquille supports clients dealing with trauma and PTSD, anger management, school-related concerns, anxiety, depression, family conflict, and men’s issues. Utilizing evidence-based approaches such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, trauma therapy interventions, and strength-based care, he helps clients gain insight, develop practical tools, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
Shaquille offers both in-person and virtual sessions with flexible weekday, evening, and select weekend availability.
Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), MSW who provides a supportive, compassionate space for clients navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She believes therapy should feel collaborative and empowering, helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
Amy utilizes a client-centered approach tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. She has completed EMDRIA Approved EMDR Basic Training through EMDR Consulting and incorporates trauma-informed care into her work with clients.
As Office Manager at Nova Counseling Group, Kelly helps ensure each client’s experience is welcoming, organized, and supportive from the very first contact. With a background in behavioral health and years of experience navigating complex systems of care, she understands how important compassionate communication and responsive support can be during vulnerable times, especially for those seeking EMDR counseling or trauma therapy. Kelly assists with scheduling, insurance coordination, client communication, and day-to-day operations to help the practice run smoothly for both clients and clinicians. Her goal is to make the process of starting mental health counseling feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
